{"id":649,"date":"2021-10-20T08:08:39","date_gmt":"2021-10-20T06:08:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pc2.fpecaixa.info\/faqs\/"},"modified":"2022-04-21T16:46:47","modified_gmt":"2022-04-21T14:46:47","slug":"faqs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pc2.fpecaixa.info\/en\/faqs\/","title":{"rendered":"Faqs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Plan and Fund <\/h2>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading915\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse915\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse915\">What type of Plan is the Caixabank Associated Collective Plan?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse915\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading915\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse915\"><div class=\"accordion-body\">It is an associated system plan with a defined contribution modality where the participants define the contribution to be made within the legal limits, as well as its periodicity (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual or discretionary).<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading852\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse852\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse852\">Who supervises the pension plans and ensures their proper functioning?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse852\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading852\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse852\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pension plans are subject to extensive regulation and supervision involving the following agencies:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Board of Trustees<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It supervises the plan, its operation and proper execution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Asset Manager<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is in charge of making investment decisions regarding equity. These decisions should always be in line with the Plan\u2019s Investment Policy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Depositary<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is responsible for the custody of the securities and financial assets in the fund&#8217;s portfolio. By law, the Management Company and the Custodian must be independent entities, since they are responsible, among other things, for supervising each other.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading853\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse853\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse853\">Which Asset Manager, Depositary and Insurance Company do we have?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse853\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading853\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse853\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Asset Manager <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depositary: Cecabank, S.A. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Insurer of the insurance policies linked to the Plan: VidaCaixa, S.A.U. de Seguros y Reaseguros.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading854\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse854\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse854\">In which Fund are the contributions we make to the Caixabank Associated Collective Plan integrated?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse854\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading854\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse854\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Legally, every Pension Plan must be attached to a Pension Fund that integrates its contributions. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It may happen that a given Fund integrates the contributions of several Pension Plans. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In our case, Pensions Caixa 2, FP \u2019s only integrates the contributions made in the Caixabank Associated Collective Plan.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading855\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse855\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse855\">Who governs the Fund and the Plan?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse855\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading855\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse855\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since Pensions Caixa 2, FP&#8217;s only integrates the Caixabank Associated Collective Plan, the governance of both the Plan and the Fund is carried out through a single Board of Trustees. Therefore, the Board of Trustees governs in accordance with the functions attributed to it in the Specifications of the Associated Collective Plan of Caixabank, S.A. and the Operating Rules of Pensions Caixa 2, Fondo de Pensiones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Board of Trustees is the representative organ vis-\u00e0-vis participants and beneficiaries, as well as third parties<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading856\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse856\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse856\">Who makes up the Board of Trustees?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse856\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading856\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse856\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Board of Trustees is composed of 9 members, 8 representing the active members and 1 representing the beneficiaries in the event that the beneficiaries exceed 20% of the number of participants and beneficiaries of the plan. At present, this percentage is not reached, so the 9 members of the Board of Trustees act on behalf of the active members .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The designation and election of members is carried out through the corresponding electoral process contemplated in the Specifications. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once elected, representation is for a term of four years and they may be re-elected.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading857\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse857\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse857\">How are decisions made in the Board of Trustees?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse857\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading857\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse857\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attendance at meetings of the Board of Trustees may be in person (in person or by telematic means) or by proxy conferred to another member of the Board of Trustees. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each member of the Board of Trustees shall have one vote. The right to vote can be exercised through another member through delegated representation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The agreements will be adopted, at least, by simple majority, except for some aspects included in the specifications in which a qualified majority of 80% of the members of the Board of Trustees (8 members) will be required.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A record of each session will be drawn up that must be kept at the disposal of the spanish regulator.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading858\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse858\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse858\">How are investment policies established?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse858\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading858\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse858\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The investment policies are designed jointly by the Manager, the Control Commission and a Consultant that advises and supports the Control Commission in all the management it carries out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Investment Policy is reflected in the Declaration of Investment Policy Principles id=\"heading859\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse859\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse859\">Who can be a participant?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse859\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading859\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse859\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Personnel with an employment relationship at Caixabank, S.A.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">People in early retirement from Caixabank S.A. or of any of the companies integrated by virtue of corporate operations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">People who, without having an employment relationship with Caixabank, S.A, have rights to contribute by Caixabank to the Caixabank Employment Pension Plan.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">People who have terminated their employment relationship with Caixabank, S.A. by virtue of any of the extinction measures included in a collective dismissal process with an employment agreement, as long as they maintain their status as participants, suspended participants or beneficiaries of the Caixabank Employment Pension Plan.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading860\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse860\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse860\">How is beneficiary status acquired?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse860\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading860\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse860\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The condition of beneficiary is acquired through its recognition by the managing entity, in accordance with the provisions of the Specifications and the applicable regulations when, once the contingency occurs, the person designated as such or his legal representative requests the provision and duly accredits his condition and the right to benefit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The beneficiaries will always be natural persons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The beneficiary will be considered:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the event of retirement or disability, the participant himself.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the event of the death of the participant or beneficiary of the benefit, those persons who demonstrate the right to receive a benefit according to the Plan Specifications.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading861\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse861\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse861\">How can I make or modify the Designation of Beneficiaries?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse861\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading861\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse861\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Through Caixabank Now. It is only and exclusively contractable from the office and through the Financial Terminal.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading863\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse863\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse863\">How can I contract the Caixabank Associated Collective Plan?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse863\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading863\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse863\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is only contractable through the Financial Terminal and in person at the Caixabank offices.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading864\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse864\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse864\">Can I contract the Caixabank Associated Collective Plan for my spouse or a relative?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse864\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading864\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse864\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No. This product is exclusively for employees. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading866\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse866\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse866\">Can I mobilize other individual pension plans to the Caixabank Associated Collective Plan?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse866\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading866\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse866\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Yes. Both from Caixabank Now and from an office through the Financial Terminal.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading868\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse868\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse868\">Do I have any limitations to mobilize my consolidated rights to another individual pension plan?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse868\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading868\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse868\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No. There is no limitation. It can be done from an office through the Financial Terminal or through Caixabank Now.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading874\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse874\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse874\">Am I interested in mobilizing the Caixabank Associated Collective Plan from other plans?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse874\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading874\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse874\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Of course, it is a very interesting possibility due to its low management fees. The decision should consider that the investment policy of the Fund is consistent with your risk profile. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contribution limits, taxation and redemptions <\/h2>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading879\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse879\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse879\">What is the limit for contributions to pension plans?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse879\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading879\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse879\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p>Contributions to individual and associated pension plans have become limited to a maximum of 1,500 euros per year. This amount applies jointly, so if you have several plans, the annual maximum that can be contributed as the sum of the contributions to all of them is 1,500 euros.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the case of occupational pension plans, there is a maximum joint limit of 10,000 euros per year, of which the participant\u2019s contributions may not exceed 1,500 euros to which it is limited (including individual pension plans). The employer could contribute the total of 10,000 euros, leaving in this case the participant without being able to make any individual contribution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Examples of contributions:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Scenario 1: Person who works for someone else. The company contributes \u20ac 3,500 per year to the employee&#8217;s pension plan, business social security plan or mutual social security. The employee can contribute an additional \u20ac 1,500 (maximum individual contribution) to any social security instrument, including associated or individual pension plans.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Scenario 2: Person who works for someone else. The company contributes to the employee \u20ac 8,500 per year to the employment pension plan, business social security plan or social security mutual fund. The employee can contribute an additional \u20ac 1,500 (up to \u20ac 10,000) to any social security instrument, including associated or individual pension plans.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Scenario 3: Person who works for someone else. The company contributes \u20ac 10,000 per year to the employee to the employment pension plan, business social security plan or social security mutual fund. The employee cannot contribute any additional amount to social security instruments.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tax residents in Pais Vasco:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They can contribute up to a maximum of \u20ac 5,000 per year to individual EPSV or individual pension plans. In the event that the employer contributes to an EPSV or employment pension plan, the maximum joint contribution is 12 thousand euros per year including employment and individual plans.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tax residents in Navarra:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Those under 50 may contribute a maximum of 2,000 euros per year, while those over 50 may contribute up to 5,000 euros per year.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading880\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse880\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapse880\">What is the taxation of contributions to the Associated Collective Plan?<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse880\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading880\" data-bs-parent=\"#collapse880\"><div class=\"accordion-body\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Contributions to pension plans are deductible in the income statement, reducing the tax base up to the established legal limit.
